Your wedding is a very special, one-off occasion. You obviously want everything to be perfect. You know that it only takes one part of the day to go wrong to ruin it. In god we trust, which takes care of the church service. That leaves the reception as the main question mark. There are 2 main worries with the reception. Let's face it, most people go to the reception to honour the bride and groom, and of course, to enjoy themselves. Very important is the entertainment. Choose the entertainment very carefully. Most popular seems to be the 80's/90's disco. Most age groups will enjoy this kind of evening.

Food. Very important to "Put a good spread on". And of course, the centre piece is the wedding cake. It doesn't have to just taste great, it has to look great too. Not all cake makers seem to be able to get both right. It's really nice when nearly all of the reception guests comment on such a fantastic looking cake, the camera's come out and the flashes make a good impression of a Disney light show. But at the end of the night, plates with cake slices minus one bite. Not good!
